In 2023, through donations, three free public vaccine clinics were conducted, administering 270 Canine DAPPV and 256 Feline HCP vaccines. BCAS support facilitated second vaccine sets for puppies and kittens. Discount spay/neuter certificates were offered to Benton Countians, resulting in 21 cats and 27 dogs receiving these services. Additional contributions included cat carriers for adoptions, dog sling beds for comfort, and monetary aid for BCAS repairs and emergency veterinary care exceeding $5,000. Efforts extended to supporting financially insecure pet owners and organizing successful fundraising events including a walkathon.
