Our Services

Support. Compassion. Action.

At PAWS of Benton County, we believe that animal welfare is community welfare. Every service we offer is designed to address real needs faced by local pets and their families—whether it’s preventing illness, controlling overpopulation, or simply lending a hand when times are tough.

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors, and strong partnerships with local vets and the Benton County Animal Shelter, we’re able to provide essential programs that truly make a difference.

From free vaccination clinics and spay/neuter assistance, to shelter funding, our services are rooted in compassion and focused on creating lasting change—one paw, one person, and one act of kindness at a time.

Free Vaccination Clinics
In partnership with Petco Love, PAWS hosts free quarterly vaccination clinics to help keep pets in Benton County healthy and protected. These clinics provide Feline HCP vaccines for cats and Canine DAPPv vaccines for dogs at no cost to pet owners.

No registration is needed—just bring your healthy pet on a leash or in a secure carrier, and our friendly volunteers will guide you through the quick and easy process. It’s part of our mission to make essential care more accessible to the community.

Spay & Neuter Assistance
Thanks to generous grants and community donations, PAWS helps cover the cost of spay and neuter procedures for pet owners in Benton County. These services are available through two trusted local veterinarians and are offered as long as funding allows.

Reducing the number of unwanted litters is one of the most effective ways to improve animal welfare in our region—and we’re proud to make this vital service more accessible to our community.

TNR Program
Our TNR program is just getting started, and we’re working to humanely manage the growing population of feral and community cats in Benton County. Through Trap-Neuter-Return, we trap unowned cats, spay or neuter them, and return them to their familiar territory—helping to prevent future litters and promote healthier colonies.

Community cats are unowned, approachable cats living in neighborhoods without a clear caregiver. Feral cats are more elusive and avoid human contact, often requiring humane traps to safely catch and treat them.

Shelter Support

PAWS was founded to support the Benton County Animal Shelter (BCAS)—and that mission continues to guide our work. We help provide vaccines, medical care, and supplies for animals in the shelter’s care.

Our funding also helps with building repairs and facility improvements.

Every contribution we make is aimed at giving shelter animals a better environment, better health, and a better chance at finding their forever home.
